ERA: Victorian (1837-1901)

MEASUREMENTS: Locket is 51.5mm long, including bale.
Locket itself is 39.5mm long x 32mm wide.
Weight: 18g

MATERIALS: Tests as Sterling Silver throughout.

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made prior to 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD. This Victorian Silver fancy locket is in very good condition! All of her beaded detailing is perfectly domed with an admirable patina having accrued within the grooves. The Sterling Silver has kept its structural integrity, with a smooth domed shape with only one small ding to the back. There are a few areas where the Silver appears lighter on the back, however, this can't be seen when worn. Although she only has glass on one side of the locket doors, she does contain both frames allowing you to securely fit two photographs inside. Closing with a satisfying 'click', you can wear this Victorian Silver locket with the utmost confidence!
