Interwoven ribbons of Gold form a wonderfully sculptural knot around the little Diamond in this Victorian ring. The stone sits in a star-shaped setting within a raised lozenge, while smooth curves and fine engraved details give the surrounding Gold depth and texture.

London hallmarks date this lovely piece to 1858. Its broad face tapers into a plain back band, letting the intricate knot take centre stage. The richly worked Gold and delicate touch of Diamond sparkle make a beautiful pairing.
